Forever Golf 4.0, the most anticipated golf tournament in Davao, is set to take over the fairways of Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club in Mandug, Davao City.
Organized by The Forefathers Golf Association Inc., this four-day, 36-hole competition will be held from June 12 to June 15, 2025, with participants free to choose their two playing days. The tournament will use the Modified Stableford Molave scoring system and will feature two shotgun starts daily at 6 AM and 11 AM.
Tournament director Paul Garcia shared that around 350 golfers from various courses across Mindanao, Cebu, and Manila are expected to participate. He acknowledged the scheduling difficulties faced last year due to the overwhelming turnout and said that expanding the tournament to four days would help accommodate more players. With over ₱4 million in hole-in-one and raffle prizes at stake, this year’s edition is set to be even bigger.
Seven categories will be featured in the competition, including Men’s Class A (0-9), B (10-19), and C (20-27 max), as well as Ladies Division 1 and Division 2, Seniors (64 and below), and Super Seniors (65 and above). Gross and net champions along with runners-up will be recognized in each category, with separate prizes for the Overall Gross and Net Individual Champions.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Missionaries of Charity as its primary beneficiary. The registration fee is set at ₱7,500, which covers a practice round, raffle ticket, dinner, and a ₱4,000 gift certificate redeemable at Nike outlets in the city. Hole-in-one prizes await lucky golfers at all Par 3 holes, which will each feature multiple pin placements.
Prizes for a hole-in-one include a brand-new Toyota Wigo, a Dong Feng Nammi car from Goldenville, ₱250,000 worth of a business franchise, two electronic bikes, Zeiss special lenses worth ₱80,000, a ₱100,000 vacation package with a cash prize, ₱250,000 worth of dental services from Urbidontics, a handgun from PhilPro, and several other exciting rewards.
The tournament is co-presented by Foretheboys, Nike Min, Omerta Bistro, The Commons, and Moonstruck. The competition will conclude with a fellowship and awarding ceremony at San Josue Resort on the evening of June 15, 2025. Golfers and enthusiasts alike can expect four days of intense play, camaraderie, and a celebration of the sport, all while supporting a meaningful cause.
