It’s all set for this year’s biggest summer team golf tournament in Davao City–the FORE 3 2 1 Fore The Boys Golf tournament. With over Four million pesos’ total worth of prizes and merchandise for Hole in One and raffle prizes, this sporting event promises to be as one of the biggest summer spectacle to hit the city.
“All is set and we are ready for the tournament. But still, entries are keep on coming and we are limiting the acceptance for the limited slots to be filled up; we expect more golfers to register to beat the deadline” said Gil “Bates” Bullecer, tournament chairman on a meeting last week with this writer.” It’s all systems go and we’re just hoping for a fair weather during the tournament. We will adjust accordingly as the need arises” Bulecer added.
The tournament will be played at the Palos Verdes Golf for the Team Aggregate format and the South Pacific Golf will host the Team Ambrose Format. The tournament will be played simultaneously on the two courses on July 12 and 13,2025 with the awarding to be held at the San Josue Resort after the games on July 13,2025.
There is no Team classification since all teams will play in Unified class but winners will be declared for each Team Aggregate and Team Ambrose. There will be 9 winning teams for Team Aggregate (Champion to 8th runner up) and Team Ambrose (Champion to 8th runner up) both for Men and Ladies or a total of 18 team winners. There will be only one Overall Champion each for the Team Aggregate and Team Ambrose, regardless of their classification whether Men or Ladies.
All Par 3s will have designated prizes for the Hole in One. All players can hit a shot at all Par 3’s to give everyone the chances of winning the jackpot but in the Ambrose format the ball of the designated hitter on that hole will be the one to be played until holing out.
All participants are entitled to giveaways upon payment of registration fee which is pegged at 30,000 per team of Three players. The registration includes free green fee, practice round, raffle ticket and dinner at the awarding and fellowship night.
