Battling rain, thunder, and the occasional downpour delay, ForeEver Golf Version 4.0 wrapped up in dramatic style Sunday morning, following a thrilling four-day run at the majestic Rancho Palos Verdes Golf & Country Club. With 320 golfers and guests turning out in full swing, the annual charity showdown—teeing off on Independence Day and culminating on Father’s Day—lived up to its billing as one of the most anticipated golf events on the calendar.
The course’s rolling fairways offered challenge and charm in equal measure, while late-week weather woes forced a rare suspension of Saturday’s afternoon play—prompting a Sunday morning continuation that saw spirits undampened and wedges sharpened.
Tournament President Atty. Ed Batacan expressed his gratitude during the lively awards night at San Josue Resort: “We are grateful for your enduring support. Together, we celebrate not only golf, but our shared purpose through this sport and our charitable mission.”
Casintahan Makes It Count
Rising above the field, the tandem of EJ Casintahan and James Morente clinched the Overall Gross Team Championship with a stellar 216 Molave points. Casintahan completed a rare triple feat—snagging the Overall Gross Individual plum (117 pts) and the Longest Drive honors with a 274-yard bomb on Hole 15.
In the Net division, Andy Tuason and AC Sian powered to victory with 239 points to seize the Overall Net Team crown.
