LGU Kapalong procures 35M worth of heavy equipment

The local government of Kapalong under the Timbol – Estrada administration has recently made another notable accomplishment as the newly purchased brand new heavy equipments paraded at the motorpool of  this town ready to take off for the LGU’s lined-up infrastructure projects.
Mayor Timbol bared that the LGU has managed to outsource funds to purchase brand new heavy equipments needed to bolster development infrastructure projects of the municipality. Just recently a brand new Mitsubishi Motor Grader and Volvo Excavator have been delivered and this would be followed this week with  2 units brand new 6 wheelers dumptrucks and 1 unit soil compactor augmenting the LGU’s pool of heavy equipments namely; 6 dump trucks, 1 bulldozer, 1 grader, 2 loaders,1 backhoe loader, and 1 self loader. 
Said equipments will be operated and maintained under the motorpool of the Economic Enterprise Development and Management Office for road maintenance and rehabilitation and implementation of various infrastructure projects.
“In the long run, we could have these equipments serve as one of the LGU’s source of income as the Economic Enterprise has already started the equipment rental scheme which is  one of its income generating programs.”, Mayor Timbol said.
He added that the key  to successful heavy equipment operation is knowledge of a particular machine and practice in properly operating the equipment; hence, the management is making it sure that all of these equipments are properly handled by knowledgeable and dedicated operators.
Moreover, Mayor Timbol is optimistic that with the full support of the vice mayor and the rest of the municipal officials and the people of Kapalong, his administration could continue burst forth more infrastructure projects that would eventually foster development and progress for the municipality.
The people are now eager awaiting for the rise of some lined-up big projects such as  the construction of a cultural gymnasium, a 2 story building for its locally run school, the Kapalong College of Arts, Sciences and Technology (KCAST), rehabilitation of the municipal plaza/ now Kapalong Town Square, construction of new slaughterhouse and establishment of the Urban Drainage system.
