Davnor holds total workforce reorientation

After a total reorganization, there came the total workforce reorientation.
To provide updates on the new organizational structure of the Provincial Government which took effect October of last year, reelected Governor Rodolfo del Rosario sustained the request of the Provincial Human Resource and Management Office (PHRMO) to conduct series of seminars to all employees with topics on HR Management, Laws, Rules, Regulations and Policies.
“The main purpose of this activity is not only to enhance knowledge, skills and attitude among employees but also practice,” said PHRMO head Monica Salido, which she meant as living what is learned so that employees’ attitude towards work is further developed for a more efficient and effective delivery of service.
Speaking recently at the Bulwagan ng Lalawigan during the last day of the seminar, Salido defined the activity as a blessing for only a few local government units (LGUs) could afford to fund such organization-wide activity.
“We don’t have the luxury of resources unlike the private sector,” she said, “as much as we wanted to conduct more development programs to widen the horizon of employees, we are bounded by financial considerations.”
In closing, Salido thanked the generosity of the present administration especially the governor for his all-out support to the activity. [MGrace Apuya/DDN PIO]
