THE provincial government of Davao del Norte flew the Philippine national flag at half-mast for six days, March 8-13, in memory of Provincial Administrator Rufo L. Peligro who died last March 4 at the age of 43 and was buried March 13.
Peligro is remembered as having “assiduously steered the implementation of
programs and projects of the provincial government” under Gov. Rodolfo P. del Rosario “to the benefit of the people of Davao del Norte.”
Peligro started as a legislative staff officer IV from Aug. 1, 1995 to June 30, 1998.
He then worked as executive assistant III from July 1, 1998 to August 29, 1999 and eventually became a provincial government department head from August 30, 1999 to December 9, 2004. He was assistant secretary from Dec. 10, 2004 to June 30, 2007, and eventually returned as provincial government department head from July 2007 up to the time of his death.
