NABUNTURAN, Compostela Valley, August 29 – – The Lady Local Legislators’ League of the Philippines (4L Phils.), Compostela Valley Chapter held its 2nd Provincial Congress on August 16-18, 2017 at the Apo View Hotel, Davao City.
The 4L is an all-women organization composed of Lady members of the different Sanggunians of ComVal Province from the provincial, municipal and barangay. It is headed by Hon. Vivencia L. Secuya, Provincial Board Member of the said province.
With the theme, “The Leader In Me: Empowering Women through Service and Advocacy,” it aims to give equal opportunity for women to promote and legislate measures for the rights and welfare of women, children and their family.
As leaders of their respective communities, the activities would enable them to assist and be more effective in formulating ideas to strengthen government policies in the future.
