Two arrested for P55T heist

The San Pedro police station  took into custody on Friday two of three persons who were possibly identified by a stall owner as the ones who forcibly opened her stall and took off with cash and jewelries worth P55,599.

The suspects were identified as Jasper Jemenico Abi-Abi, 20 yeaers old and Jimboy Gentilizo, 16 years old.

They were possibly identified by Aida Suaybaguio Bustamante, 47 years old, resident of Purok two 39-2 Bolton Extension barangay 1-A Davao City as the people who stole her bag that contained the cash and jewelries. The third suspect,  Alvin Amaro, remains at large.

Suaybaguio told police investigators her green shoulder bag contained government issued IDs, ATM cards with passbooks, one gold ring worth P18,000, one Citizen gold plated watch worth P4,999, one piece gold bracelet  worth P13,000 and one pair of earrings worth P8,000, one piece gold necklace worth P 4,800, two unit of cellular phones work 20,000 and cash money amounting to 4,000 all estimated to total P55,599.

She said the bad was placed in a cabinet inside the stall which is situated along Bolton Extension, in front of the Philhealth office. The suspects were believed to have destroyed the stall’s locks in gaining entry at around five o’clock in the morning on the same day.
Upon her complaint, the police station’s Mobile 73 manned by PO1 Esticomen immediately dispatched together with the complainant and duty investigators Senior Police Officers Tirasol and Honor and police officers Galupe, Tudlasan, Anoba and Pagatpatan conducted an ocular investigation and manhunt operation against the suspects at their residence at Purok eight Barangay 76-A Bucana Davao City.

Suaybaguio’s bag was recovered but it was already emptied of its contents. After the complainant verified her account at the bank, it was discovered that the suspects withdrew P10,000 around 11:00 on the same day.
