An official of the regional Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) office disclosed on Wednesday that the number of foreclosed properties in Davao City is accumulating every month.
“Naga accumulate ang among mga property na na foreclosed sad to say kay naa man gud dili na nila ma- save ang ilahang property. Ang Pag-Ibig will foreclose and sell it to other qualified members. Every month ga increase ug ga accumulate,” said Engineer Noli Armada, OIC for Home Lending Operations-VisMin Group during the AFP PNP Press Corps media briefing.
Armada assured the members that the Pag-IBIG fund has the remediation program to keep their borrowers keep their homes. The programs will help borrowers, particularly delinquent accounts, update their loans and avoid foreclosure.
“As much as possible naa mi remediation program to save your property. Katong mga delinquent accounts mao na’y among gina-encourage na mu-apply for the remediation program para ma-save ang ilahang property. Lisod himoon na target ang foreclosed property kay luoy pud. Ginatagaan nato sila ug chance na i-recover nila ang property kay naay value dinha na dili kabayran or sentimental value,” he said.
Meanwhile, Pag-IBIG has launched its official mobile app-the virtual Pag-IBIG Mobile App that allows members to view their PagIBIG savings and annual dividends, confirm savings remitted, and loan payments made through all channels, and monitor their loan balances and due dates.
The mobile app can be accessed by members using their virtual Pag-IBig accounts to ensure data protection and security.
