The city government of Davao is expanding its delivery of services through its local new program “Madayaw Davao” on Wednesday.
City Information Office head Harvey Lanticse said over Davao City Disaster Radio (DCDR) on Tuesday that the new program, which will pilot on January 18, 2023, will strengthen and broaden the city’s delivery of information and services to the Dabawenyos anchored on the 12-point agenda of Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte.
Duterte’s 12-key priority areas are poverty alleviation; infrastructure development; sustainable environment; health; education and human resource development; agriculture and agribusiness; business and industrial support development; transportation planning and traffic management; peace and order; disaster risk reduction and mitigation; good governance through innovative ICT; and tourism and development and support services.
Dabawenyos can watch the pilot program live, 7 a.m. to 8 a.m., through the city government of Davao’s Facebook Page and the Madayaw Davao FB Page.
Lanticse emphasized that the program will not only highlight information but the delivery of service to the Dabawenyos.
He added that the long-term plan is to make the program daily.
