Vice President Sara Duterte urged Filipinos to embrace the true essence of Undas by strengthening their faith, honoring the saints, and keeping alive the memory of their departed loved ones.
In her All Saints’ Day message, Duterte encouraged the public to treat the observance as a moment for reflection, prayer, and renewal of the values that uphold Filipino families and communities.
She also called on everyone to pray for the eternal rest of those who have passed and to let their memories inspire lives filled with meaning and hope.
Highlighting the values of unity, faith, and compassion, Duterte urged Filipino families to move forward each day with love and optimism, principles she described as vital in nurturing a stronger and more caring nation.
Harapin natin ang bawat araw ng may pananampalataya, pag-asa, at pagmamahal,” she said.
She imparted her message as millions of Filipinos nationwide gathered in cemeteries and memorial parks to remember their loved ones, continuing the long-held tradition of faith, reflection, and family togetherness that marks the observance of Undas.
