DOLE 11 Independence Day Job Fair hires 78 jobseekers on the spot

The Department of Labor and Employment 11 (DOLE 11) successfully conducted its “Trabaho Agad” Job Fair on Friday at SM City Davao in celebration of the nation’s 128th Independence Day.

The event attracted 883 registered job seekers, with 78 applicants hired on the spot (HOTS).

According to DOLE 11, this highlights the agency’s continued efforts to connect job seekers with employment opportunities and promote workforce development in the region.

In addition to employment opportunities, the event featured a One-Stop Shop (OSS) for government services, providing convenient access to various public services for both job seekers and the general public.

DOLE 11 expressed its gratitude to its partner government agencies for their participation and support in bringing essential services closer to the community. Participating agencies included the Civil Service Commission (CSC), Employees’ Compensation Commission (ECC), Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Social Security System (SSS) San Pedro Branch, Philippine National Police (PNP), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund), Department of Health (DOH), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) through its eGov Booth.

The Trabaho Agad Job Fair forms part of DOLE 11’s continuing commitment to providing accessible employment opportunities and government services, contributing to inclusive growth and economic empowerment in the region.
