EDGE DAVAO turns two years old as a business paper this week.
As we enter our third year, we are aware of the many realities we are faced with as a struggling publication, with some situations that could be daunting enough to convince the weak-hearted to hang the proverbial gloves and give up the fight. Fortunately for us and our readers who are growing in number, we believe we are on track in so far as our mission of helping people arrive at informed decisions is concerned. Our most important learning is that good news sells. Indeed, the business community prefers  the positive outlook to negativism. We are, therefore, inspired to go on.
We believe that we can be a much better paper if only we had enough resources to hire more hands and acquire better equipment. This year, we will be doing just that. Expect additional manpower to be on board before June, as we shop for a more modern printing machine.
We are also tweaking our web site’s connectivity and trying our hand at integration.
All these during the year, our third.
