Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon (5th from left) leads the ground-breaking ceremony of the Calabanit - E. Alegado farm-to-market road (FMR) on December 6. Gov. Solon along with Provincial Engineer Jerry Belbider, Mayor Victor James Yap, local officials and contractors broke ground for the 4.0525-kilometer farm-to-market road from the national highway of barangay Calabanit to barangay E. Alegado. The P40-million project is mutually funded by the Philippine Rural Development Program of the Department of Agriculture and the Sulong Imprastraktura component of the Sulong Sarangani Program of Governor Solon in partnership with Senator Emmanuel Pacquiao, Congressman Roel Pacquiao, Vice Governor Elmer de Peralta, board members and municipal officials.
