Philamlife donates to typhoon victims

Philamlife, together with its affiliates, made a donation of P4.6 million to support the rehabilitation efforts of the victims of typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng.
This amount is on top of the funds of more than P500,000, that the employees were able to put together for the same purpose.
At the onslaught of typhoon Ondoy, employees and affiliates of Philamlife immediately made contributions in cash and in kind to facilitate relief operations of their affected countrymen.
Philamlife president and CEO Trevor Bull said, “We continue extending not only our deepest sympathies, but also our own small ways of helping the victims of the recent typhoons. From our employees’ generous and selfless donations and volunteerism, to the Company’s donation, we hope that this help forms part of the nation’s consolidated rehabilitation efforts during this time of need.”
In addition, Philamlife has also extended the grace period for premium payments on traditional policies due on September 1 to October 30, 2009 for Philamlife policyholders residing in calamity areas. The grace period for the payment of these Philamlife traditional policies is extended from the original 31 days to 91 days.
A special hotline was also placed to prioritize the claims and loans of policyholders affected by the typhoons.
If you are a Philamlife policyholder and you were affected by typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng,  your claim or loan will be processed on high priority by calling the hotline (02) 528-5453 or visiting any of Philamlife’s branch offices.
