After the launch of its GreenViron tree-planting campaign, Camella Davao once again manifested its corporate social responsibility (CSR) by tying up with a city councilor in a feeding activity last May 18.
Over 50 children and adults benefitted from the feeding program held at the Leon Garcia barangay hall, spearheaded by Councilor Al Ryan Alejandre in partnership with Camella Davao, a leading masterplan developer in Davao and subsidiary of Vista Land & Lifescapes, the largest homebuilder in the country.
The feeding activity was led by Councilor Alejandre and his staff, Kagawad Lita Empis and other barangay officials and staff, and Camella employees led by Davao GM Marlon B. Escalicas.
“This feeding activity is in line with the nationwide CSR program of the Villar Foundation and Vista Land & Lifescapes,” remarked Escalicas.
The CSR program of the foundation and the developer includes feeding, medical mission, tree planting, recycling, composting, coco coir production, among others. These are conducted regularly throughout the year, targeting the most needy as its beneficiaries.
Last April, Vista Land launched its GreenViron program, a nationwide tree-planting activity participated in by its subsidiaries all over the country, planting hundreds of tree saplings in its developments to further green their communities and its surroundings.
Camella is the developer of masterplan communities such as the Caribbean-themed Solariega, Italian-inspired Toscana, and Camella Northpoint, its first vertical project in Mindanao and landmark condo development in Davao.
Camella holds offices at the 2nd floor of Delgar Building, J. P. Laurel Ave., Bajada, Davao City (right across Camella Northpoint), with the following contact details: 222-0963, 222-5221, 222-5223, 0917-857.6572, vismins@camella.com.ph, and www.camella.com.ph.
