The Malagos farm fair event at the Malagos Garden Resort in Davao City was conceptualized by the Puentespina family as an occasion to open the different farms to showcase and sell crops and also the menagerie of farm animals that their family grows. Due to the successful turnout last August 2010, veterinarian Dr. Bo Puentespina came up with an additional event to add to the existing farm fair activities of: Agricultural related seminars, farm games, wine and cheese appreciation, fruits, vegetables and farm animal sale, live band entertainment with the Malagos Pet Parade.
Event organizers look forward to gather pet owners in Southern Mindanao to this fun-filled event where pet lovers can spend the day with their beloved pets in a farm fair atmosphere. After all he says, “they are not just pets, they are family, and are essential farm companions.”
So, if your beloved pets are well behaved, vaccinated, and well groomed, then they can come in for free. Pet owners will have to purchase a P350 ticket which entitles them to a hearty lunch buffet, drink and other farm fair activities.
