The Foundation for Development Through Education, Inc. (FDTEI) annual activity for honoring graduates last March 28 and accepting new scholarship grantees for school year 2011-2012 marks another milestone of achievement in FDTEI’s scholarship program.
Chairman Carlos G. Dominguez, in his message said he was “very happy for FDTEI to continue to transform lives through education, for the members of the cultural communities in Region 11 and Datu Paglas, Maguindanao. FDTEI’s fourteen years of existence and the generation of seventy college graduates to-date, since the start of the scholarship program in 1999, is a living proof of FDTEI’s commitment and dedication towards building and developing a prosperous Mindanao.”
Maguindanao Gov. Ishmael Mangudadatu, the guest speaker, lauded the accomplishments of FDTEI in granting scholarship program in Region 11 and Paglas Maguindanao. For his part, he also shared his vision to reform Maguindanao “by educating the generations to eliminate the chaotic situation.
