28 IB soldiers, health office hold Operation Tuli  

A total of 119 boys benefitted on a free circumcision program on May 9,2012 with the Provincial Health and Army’s 28IB as part of the summer health program of the province.
The Operation Tuli  in Brgy Bagumbayan, Lupon, Davao Oriental successfully circumcised the boys accompanied by their parents having the Provincial Health Volunteers lead by Dra Joy Sanico together with the Peace & Development Team (PDT) deployed in the said barangay led by TSg Ritz Teves.
Accordingly, Sanico also trained soldiers from 28IB in preparation for this surgical mission facilitated by the Barangay Officials led by their barangay chief, Hon Generoso Rañeses.
“The assistance rendered by the soldiers of 28IB made it possible to multiply the beneficiaries of this program and complete it by 2PM. The Provincial Health Office was also prepared to accommodate everyone who yearned to avail the services,”  Rañeses said.
“The success of the activity relies on the collaborative efforts of the Provincial, Brgy LGUs and other stakeholders who are looking for the welfare of the Filipino people and sincere in the delivery of basic services as their contribution on IPSP Bayanihan to attain lasting Peace and Development in the District II of Davao Oriental,” LTC IMBANG said.
