Niño II, San Vicente and San Jose. Each received a customized backpack, notebook, ballpen and crayons.
On behalf of the Carmelite Sisters, Sr. Maria Ramona Gutierrez thanked DCWD for the school assistance which would encourage the children to study and do well in school. Also present during the distribution was Tibungco barangay captain Margie Calvo who urged the children to take care of their bags and to finish the school year. She thanked DCWD for choosing the children of her barangay as recipients of its outreach program and the Carmelite Sisters for their good works in the community.
Mrs. Aviles likewise encouraged the recipients to study hard for them to ultimately finish their education and have a bright future. She commended the nuns for their different programs that greatly contribute to the spiritual formation and personal development of the children and youth of Barangay Tibungco.
