The fraternity made use of stratified random sampling in determining the veracity of the results, and in order to ensure its scientific accuracy in the open voting system. This time around there were 378 participants, in accordance to the population sample drawn out by the mathematical formula derived from the total population of the Diliman Campus segregated per college. Out of the said 378 participants, the fraternity spearheaded the scientific analysis by straw polling method and extracted the participants for the survey making use of the said statistical method
With nationalism as one of the fraternity’s highest goals, this series of mock elections sought to heighten the awareness of the UP Diliman community of the importance of exercising the right to suffrage in the upcoming 2010 national elections.
