With the rise of commercial buildings, it is no wonder that entrepreneurs are taking advantage of every opportunity they see. From north to south, their presence is inevitable. For the majority, this means additional places to dine, hangout and spend the day. But for entrepreneurs, this means an opening presenting itself life a ray of sunshine.
Harden Homecafe is Davao’s newest addition to its growing number of foodie places. This cafe is small yet packed to a tee. With limited seating, the place offers a convenient place for students and anyone who wants to rest and relax.
Despite the limited seating, Harden Homecafe’s interior is one that you’d look forward to. Why? The design boasts of travel snippets and memorabilias from owner Carolyn Ocampo’s many travels abroad. The name Harden is the couple’s youngest son who loves to explore the kitchen, eat and cook.
Primarily a coffee shop/cafe, Harden is a cut above its competitors. Their menu is very affordable — perfect for students and anyone who wants to enjoy good food minus the expensive cost. More so, Harden serves a complete array of meals and dishes designed to curb anyone’s craving. More like a grab-and-go store but with seats to accommodate.
Choose from their rice meals, pasta, snacks, and bread choices on any given day. Sweet thirst? Go ahead and indulge on their choices of sweet coffee and non-coffee based smoothies and frappes. The best thing? Everything costs less than you’d expect them to be.
“It’s a very relaxing cafe. What we pride in is our menu that’s very light on the budget. It’s not complicated — just everyday good food you’d want to eat all day long”, said Ocampo.
Aside from the fresh and hot off the grill dishes, they also offer pre-packaged items for people on the go. Best recommendation? Try their meaty burger for as low as P65.
