It was a weekend of everything coffee at SM CIty Davao as coffee aficionados from Durianburg and beyond descended on the mall’s Event Center to check out the Music & Coffee Festival last September 15 to 17.
Mallgoers who attended the event were able to sample brews from event purveyors Bo’s Coffee, J.CO, Dunkin Donuts, Lara Mia, Gypsys Cafe, Racoma Farms, A&V Café, Tirzah Bakery – Café, Yohans Coffee and Neon Pigeon. Coffee-holics, this writer included, got a high from the aroma of fresh infusions and delectable desserts sweets that were served throughout the event.
I particularly liked the clean and refreshing cold brews of Neon Pigeon, as well as the wood-oven roasted Mt. Apo Arabica coffee of Lara Mia.
Aside from drinks and sweets, the event also featured coffee talks on bean selection, coffee roasting, and brewing. Music lovers also got their fill thanks to the soulful music from fresh local acts while sipping their choice of hot or cold beverage.
