A hotel should feel like a home away from home,” this is how Hotel Esse’s owner Annie Regis describes her philosophy on hotels and with the completion of Hotel Esse’s renovation, travellers to Durianburg now have a better and more comfortable place to call home.
From 14 rooms when it opened six years ago, Hotel Esse added a new wing to add four more rooms and an elevator to allow guests easy access to their rooms. Each room boasts high quality beds and beddings, LED cable TV, high speed WiFi, hot and cold showers, a mini-bar, and even a hair dryer which is a rare commodity for most small hotels. There are also adjoining rooms which are perfect for bigger families to book.
“Me and my family travel all the time and when we decided to go into the hotel business, we wanted to give our guests as many room amenities as possible to really make their stay a pleasure,” shared Annie.
Aside from new rooms, Hotel Esse now has two new function rooms which are perfect for small meetings, seminars and gatherings. There is also a brand new all-day-dining restaurant, Blunch, headed by Chef Benjo Tuazon. The restaurant, located right beside Hotel Esse’s lobby, serves all-day breakfast as well as classic Filipino comfort food such as Callos, Chicken Wings, and Chicken Salpicao.
“Travellers always look for a hearty breakfast whenever they travel, which is why we partnered up with Chef Benjo and his team to provide a good breakfast experience for our guests,” said Annie “In fact, all of our rooms here at the hotel include breakfast.”
Hotel Esse is centrally located along F. Torres Street and is just a stone’s throw away from many of Davao City’s famous landmarks, office districts, malls and food streets. So why don’t you drop by and stay at the newly renovated Hotel Esse?
