Davao’s skyline is about to change once again with publicly-listed Cebu Landmasters, Inc. and Davao-based partner Yuson Comm Investments breaking ground at their first project, MesaTierra Garden Residences, last Friday morning at the project site situated in Emilio Jacinto Extension, Davao City just six months after the project’s launch.
Both companies partner for the first time in a joint venture called Yuson Excellence Soberano Inc. (YES Inc.).
With the MesaTierra Garden Residences becoming the fastest selling condominium project in Davao with 85% units sold since its launching in March and seeing the positive response from the Davao market, YES Inc. is looking for more opportunities to grow their real estate presence in the crown jewel of Mindanao.
“Davao’s real estate industry continues to grow and we want to be in the center of it. We are looking into developing more properties, in fact we will be launching another one soon,” CLI Chief Executive Officer Jose Soberano III said.
“We have a 2-hectare mixed-use development which located along McArthur Highway which will include our first condotel and we are looking at launching it in around two months,” Mr. Soberano added, “This will be designed by RTKLAssociates, one of the most prominent architectural firms in the United States.”
MesaTierra Garden Residences is the fourth development in CLI’s garden series standing tall with 22-storeys and a total of 694 units and 259 parking spots.
