URBANISSIMO: Seda Abreeza’s  pre-holiday feast

urbanissmo by kenneth irving ongThe malls of Durianburg seem to be more hectic these past few weeks, so are the streets which seem to be more busy then usual. I guess these are signs that the “ber” months are finally upon us as shoppers looking to get their early holiday shopping go out in droves looking for the best deals.

Adding more fun to the pre-holiday rush, Seda Abreeza’s all-day dining restaurant, Misto, recently launched its line-up of pre-holiday promos that cater to every need and every taste.

Party mode on

Although Christmas parties are usually reserved for December, many companies now choose to celebrate corporate parties early to clear up the December month for family and friends. For those who wish to have a good time with good friends and company, Misto Bar celebrates Oktoberfest with a beer-all-you-can offer.  With their “Cheers for Unli-Beers!” promo, guests a chance to enjoy free flowing drinks of select local beers from 6PM-8PM, from October 1 to November 30, 2017. This is available at Php 780 nett per person.

Misto’s Chili Prawns

Ala carte favorites

For those who crave for a delectable seafood treat, Misto’s all-time favorite Misto Chili Prawns is the highlight a la carte dish from October to November. Savor the goodness of crisp-fried prawns made more flavorful with blends of spices, available all-day at Php 880 nett per order. Executive Sous Chef Giovanna “Bang” Sibala says this signature dish has always gained great reviews from diners, as the spice in the dish elevates the taste of the prawns.

Personally, I love Misto’s Pork Sinigang Adodo which is a blend of two all-time favorite Filipino dishes. The pork is tender with a nice sour tartness coming from the vinegar and tamarind. The dish shows how the Misto culinary team continues to innovate its menu as it aspires to remain one of the Best Restaurants of Philippine Tatler Dining.

For the sweet tooth

Misto has been known for its desserts through the years and I always overeat whenever they have a dessert buffet spread. From their Angel Food Cake, Carrot Cake, Mango Sans Rival, Red Velvet Cake, Malagos Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Factory Cake, and Pistachio Milk Bar, every bite is a moment in heaven especially the Malagos Chocolate Dark Chocolate Cheesecake which uses Malagos Dark Chocolate together with Malagos cheese, a truly a cake that showcases the terroir of Durianburg.

I was doubly happy to learn that these specialty cakes can now be ordered to bring home to share and enjoy, making every occasion even more sweet and memorable. Just make sure to order 24 hours in advance.
