URBANISSIMO:l Affordable comfort at the C-Tree Hotel

urbanissmo by kenneth irving ongTravelling is a great way to discover new experiences as well as see new sights, but travelling can also take its toll especially when spending the night in uncomfortable hotels. Although there are many hotels that promise comfortable stays, not many can promise a comfortable stay at an affordable price. Enter C-Tree Hotel.

Located along Acacia street at the edge of Juna Subdivision in Matina, the C-Tree Hotel is a state-of-the-art 24-room hotel which strikes a balance between giving travellers the comfort and conveniences they need but at a price that is affordable.

The small lobby of the hotel may be small but it was well lit with the bright smiles of the staff making the space even brighter. General manager Arvin Dizon, gave me a tour of the hotel’s many room types. Each room at the C-Tree Hotel comes with hotel quality bedding, 40-inch LED cable TV, hot and cold showers, and signature toiletries.

“Our most popular room here at the C-Tree Hotel is the Family Room which was designed to accommodate a group of four,” shared Arvin. A look at the room reveals why. The Family Room has four separate beds with their own light switches as well as power outlets for charging one’s own gadgets.

At the top of the hotel are two function rooms which can accommodate 50 to 100 persons. Each function room has state-of-the-art equipment and a pillar-less layout to make social events, product launches, meetings and seminars more memorable.

Aside from the rooms, a stay at the C-Tree Hotel is not complete without dining at the hotel’s food outlet, Cafe Clarice. Manned by chef Josam Barbadillo and his team, Cafe Clarice offers contemporary comfort dishes with a creative twist thanks to chef Barbadillo’s stints in Hawaii, New York, and Chicago.

For Cafe Clarice, he takes inspiration from his stint in Australia where he specialised in Outback, Fine Dining and Tapas. “I wanted to create food that I was able to experience while I was working abroad, make it familiar but exciting with creative plating and presentation, and all at an affordable price,” said Josam.
