Colours in the Streets of GENSAN

General Santos City showed that nothing can stop them from celebrating their 20th Tuna Festival.

Considered generally peaceful, the recently concluded Tuna Festival 2018 saw a most colourful themed celebration that made all the Generals and visitors of the city happy and proud. And last Wednesday, September 5, during the culmination of the thanksgiving celebration, the Generals showcased their talents on the streets with a resounding street dancing competition that made everyone’s afternoon memorable.

The competition saw a number of participants decked in their most colourful of costumes that represented the rich tradition and culture of General Santos City and the Generals.

The most anticipated street dancing competition truly left a mark, not only to the judges of the competition, but more so, to those who lined the streets to watch and see them perform live.
