The Philippines’ number one Chinese quick-service food chain, Chowking, recently opened its 556th store at the ground floor of the Gaisano Grand CityGate Mall, at crossing Buhangin, Davao City. Featuring the newest food chain’s award-winning G7 design, the latest Chowking outlet in Davao City is hip and trendy with bright interiors, earth-tones, comfortable dining spaces, as well as a window showing the action within the its kitchen.
The store-blessing event held last October 18, saw guests fill the 140-seat restaurant in eager anticipation of its official opening which happened with the ceremonial cutting of Chowking’s giant siopao.
Lunch was immediately served featuring of course, the menu of Chowking which retains its made fresh, served fast, and affordably priced philosophy. Who can resist biting into their crispy yet juicy Chinese-style Fried Chicken or their Pork Chao Fan topped with meaty Siomai? Other favorites served were Chowking’s Lumpia Shanghai, Chopsuey, Pancit Canton and my favorite Chicharap chips.
