After two major jewellery collection launches in the last five years, Emilia Sitjar Jewellery is set to unveil its 2018 collection, The Elements of Style, in an exclusive unveiling this Oct. 10, 2018. The Elements of Style Collection complements and follows through the jeweller’s previous collections: Joaillerie D’ Art (The Art of Jewellery), where Jewellery design is treated as an art and investment, and Poetic Elegance: The Filipinoiserie Collection, where Filipino design sense and craftsmanship were championed as world class and globally competitive.
For the current collection, Emilia Sitjar Jewellery refocuses from jewellery to its clients as it celebrates originality and personal aesthetics inspired by the stylish women like Audrey Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor, and by their customers who follow their own unique sense of style. “Conclusively, these women dictate style rather than the style dictating to them. They do not follow the trend but they become the trend themselves.” shared Emilia’s Jewellery Collection’s Emil Sitjar
The pieces of Elements of Style feature a play of colors using different gemstones, ranging from the popular Sapphires, Tanzanites and Topazes or to the more exotic Spinels, Spessartites and Rhodolites. These are then set individually, in combination with other gemstones or with different cuts of diamonds, or are set with special cuts of Onyxs and Mother of Pearl.
“We also highlighted the beauty of big diamond pointers as evident from our diamond pavé, diverting from the current usage of small diamonds” shared Emil. “All in all, the collection upholds a sense of individual uniqueness over the current tide of jewellery designs and make.”
By far the most important collection launched by Emilia Sitjar Jewellery, the Elements of Style Collection invokes not only the classic style of “Jewellery as Art” that proudly upholds Filipino design sense and craftsmanship, but by making stylish women as the forefront of their inspiration. “This collection complements and brings out the wearer’s personal sense of aesthetics and her beautiful individual style.” Emil added.
