“This is the first time for the TV Show to visit Davao… the first for the show to visit Mindanao”, shared Charles Kim, Head, Exhibition Committee, Overseas Korean Traders Associations of the Philippines and Chief Executive Officer of ShowBT Philippines.
Aja Aja Tayo Live!, is a promotional show of AJA AJA TAYO!, the first ever Filipino-Korean variety challenge game show in TV history. Composed of live musical performances, skits and interactive games, the show is beyond usual. Aside from entertainment, the show promotes camaraderie and unity in the face of diversity.
A recent mall show at the NCCC Mall Buhangin Activity Center proved to be a testament of the clamour for the show and their talents. With Aja Aja Tayo Live! spearheading the event, it was an afternoon of guaranteed fun and kilig moments. From start to end, the venue was filled with applause, shrieks and admiration.
The audience danced, sang and joined in the fun as one artist after another provided total entertainment to those who were in attendance. Korean comedic host, Paul Kim (under ShowBT Philippines), Filipino boy group SB19 composed of leader Sejun, Stell, Josh, Ken, and Justin (ShowBT Philippines), Korean theatre actress and mentor Hong Ganda (ShowBT Philippines) and Korean idol group, BNF composed of leader Daewon, Habin, and Harang (S.How Entertainment) were present during the show.
After the show, attendees were given the opportunity to meet the artists and have their autographs and photo taken.
Aja Aja Tayo showcases a crossover between two beautiful cultures: Korean and Filipino. From the directors to the writers, camera crew, actors and hosts, Aja Aja Tayo! is composed of both Koreans and Filipinos who never fail to highlight the similarity and diversity between the cultures.
Now on its 2nd season, the show takes pride in its unique and entertaining way of reaching out to the audience through a plethora of exciting segments and games. Further, it has the same objective of reaching out and making more Filipinos aware of the strong bond between the cultures of the Philippines and Korea by producing a fun, entertaining, and educational television program so that the audience that underscores both cultures and traditions.
Aja Aja Tayo! is produced by global multimedia company, ShowBT, a multimedia production company that produces movies, TV shows, events, festivals and more. Dubbed as a global provider of creative and entertaining content via platforms, the company is known to utilize ways to provide global entertainment that goes beyond cultures. Their main office is in South Korea and currently has branches in Vietnam, Thailand, Dubai and the Philippines.
“Next year is the 70th year of the Philippines and Korean friendship. We plan to bring lots of Korean artists in the Philippines to share common cultures to develop partnership.”, Kim said. He further added, “We really respect the Philippines and the Filipinos. We see a great big potential in the country and in Davao – the interest in Kpop, in Korea, Koreans and our culture. For the coming year, we have collaboration projects in Mindanao and we plan to bring the show here (Davao) yearly”.
Aja Aja Tayo! Season 2 will air on December 16, 2018, Sunday on its newest timeslot 10:30am-12:00noon on TV5.
