The 9th mall under LTS Malls Inc, NCCC Mall Buhangin is the latest addition to the growing retail and leisure destination in the metro. Formally opening its doors to the public last July 22, it promises the same NCCC — only leveled up to better serve their customers.
Lafayette Lim, NCCC Group of Companies CEO, said “NCCC Mall Buhangin is the shiny new symbol of our love for Davao City”.
“This city has been very good to us. And we have done everything to love and care for this city starting from within — by taking good care of our employees, whom we call our associates. We also do our best to our customers and to this city”, Lim added.
The four-story, 8,100-square meter mall is constructed in partnership with Asya Design and DMCI Construction.
NCCC Mall Buhangin opens their supermarket located on the ground floor and department store on its second floor. According to Lim, “We want to open at the same time. But we felt the need for the supermarket and department store to open first to serve our valued customers”. In the coming days, he said that the department store on the third level and new tenants will soon follow.
Lim further expressed his gratitude by honoring the people who contributed to what NCCC is today — his grandparents whom he called “the reason for NCCC’s integrity and strong foundation”, his father who groomed NCCC to be admired and respected by many and his deceased brother, Javey, who catapulted NCCC to higher levels. He also thanked his sister, Sha (Sharlene Faye) “whose iron fist is the only reason it was even possible for us to open today”. “Along with that, everyone who worked hard for this mall to open today. Thank you”, Lim said.
Aside from their extensive supermarket, department store and retail shops, NCCC Mall Buhangin will also feature a Dolby Atmos cinema — a powerful, lifelike sound created that flows all around.
Archbishop Romulo Valles officiated the mass and led the store blessing before formally opening its doors to the public.
NCCC continues to be the premier retail destination in Mindanao. And with the opening of NCCC Mall Buhangin, Lim assured that despite the elegant architectural design, it is still the same NCCC. And in the words of Lim, “Welcome to NCCC version 3.0”.
