Anflo Industrial Estate inaugurated on Thursday, March 28, eight new warehouses to its sprawling agri-industrial park in Panabo City.
The new warehouses brought to 15 the current inventory of ready-built facilities at the emerging major agri-industrial hub in the entire country.
“We started this project three years ago. What we have envisioned is to have a proper operational industrial park here in Davao del Norte”, Damosa Land Inc. (DLI) Vice President Ricardo F. Lagdameo said. “In Mindanao, there are only a few.”
DLI operates AIE under the Anflo Group of Companies conglomerate.
Lagdameo said the project cost at the moment is at P250 million.
To date, AIE has 11 locators. These are Del Monte Fresh Produce Philippines, First Panabo Tropical Foods Corp., Phildutch Polymer Inc., Davao Packaging Corporation, Davao Zhenzhi Plastics Corp., CAMECO Realty Development, PMR Pallet Ltd. Co., Fermon Corp., Southern Harvest, Lane Holdings Inc., and Packwell Inc.
AIE has been receiving increasing interest since its establishment in 2016 with investors from nations such as Japan, China, United States, Netherlands, and more visiting the Estate.
“We only have 3 vacant facilities. The rest are fully occupied,” Lagdameo said.
Located in Panabo City, the country’s banana capital, AIE is only 25 minutes drive from two major economic hubs, Davao City and Tagum City.
Adding significant value is AIE’s proximity to only the Davao International Container Terminal, Mindanao’s premier container terminal thus ensuring cost-efficient operations and world-class logistic services to AIE’s locators.
