PRO-11 applicants temporarily processed at Camp Crame

In compliance to the Executive Order No. 31 Series Of 2021 which regulates the events in all barangays, local and national government offices, agencies and instrumentalities and government-owned and controlled corporation, the processing of application for new members of the Police Regional Office XI will be at the national headquarters in Camp Crame instead of the PRO XI.

Major Eudisan Gultiano, spokesperson of the PRO XI told the AFP-PNP Press Corps,  the recruits may apply directly and in person at the general headquarters given the new height requirement which is 5 feet for female and 5’2” for male recruits.

She said the PRO XI has an allocation of 100 new police personnel including women.

“New recruits may apply directly and in person at the general headquarters where physical examination and agility tests are given,” Gultiano said.

She proposed to focus on the neuro-psychological traits of person before allowing them to join the police force.

Gultiano said that the involvement of a police in the killing of a 52-year -old woman in Quezon City though isolated might affect the morale of the police force.

She said locally, cleansing their ranks of scalawags is going on, even before the incident happened.

“We have filed 120 administrative cases against 172 police personnel in the region of which 97 cases were resolved with 14 police officers either suspended, demoted, or reprimanded while seven police officers were eventually dismissed from the service due to drug-related cases,” Gultiano said.  (PIA XI-Joey Sem G.
