As of March 20, 2022, the City of Mati is back to zero active COVID-19 case after the recovery of its last active case, MC-3771.
This is the third time that the City Government of Mati returned to zero active cases of COVID-19 since March 2020.
As of today, the City of Mati recorded a total of 3,937 cases of COVID-19. The 3,815 of these have fully recovered and 122 individuals died of complications.
Despite having zero cases as of today, the City Government of Mati continues to remind its residents to follow the minimum public health standards and the regulations under the City Ordinance 427 or the “Disiplina Panahon sa Pandemya Ordinance.”
The Mati Incident Management Team also encourages those unvaccinated individuals to get their vaccines as soon as possible from the vaccination teams.
As of March 19, 2022, there are 97,659 residents of Mati City who were vaccinated. 88,887 of these were fully vaccinated and 8,772 individuals were partially vaccinated. (PIA XI / Ezri Coda Jr. with reports from CIO – Mati)
