25 nab in 1-time big-time police operations in DDO

Police authorities nabbed a total of 25 individuals in Davao de Oro during the simultaneous anti-criminality and law enforcement operations (SACLEO) through a one-time big-time operation on July 22.

According to the report from the Davao de Oro Provincial Police Office (DDO), among the arrested were eight most wanted persons suspected for murder and rape cases, and 12 other wanted persons for frustrated murder, qualified theft, and other crimes.

In the anti-illegal drug operations, the police apprehended five persons and confiscated a total of 1.88 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride more known as shabu with a street value of PhP 12,840.00.

Some 14 loose and improvised firearms, and one live 40mm high explosive M203 ammunition were surrendered to the police. The ammunition was found by a concerned citizen in a farmland at Mahayahay, Langgam, Maco, Davao de Oro.

One fruit game (Tolilong) machine was also confiscated at Diat 6, Brgy. Napnapan, Pantukan as part of the police’s campaign against Illegal Gambling.
