Leading commercial buildings leasing company and real estate developer FTC Group of Companies is set to open Aria Hotel and Residences later this year.
Occupying five floors including the penthouse of Aeon Towers, Aria Hotel Residences will be managed by Aeon Luxe Hotel Management Company.
It will feature 64 superior rooms, 64 club rooms, and 16 suites.
The club rooms are on the two top floors of the building.
“We are currently completing the furnishing and we will be doing a soft launch later of this year,” Augustine Silva, chief operating officer and general manager of Aeon Luxe Hotel Management Company told Edge Davao.
Silva said Aria will also have 30 fully serviced residence suites equipped with kitchens.
He said the serviced residences will include eight studios, 18 one-bedroom suites, and four two-bedroom residences.
Silva said they are targeting local corporate and government businesses from within Mindanao, Manila, and other cities within the Philippines.
“International corporate and government-to-government businesses, leisure businesses from nearly countries; especially with the support of direct flights,” he said.
Silva emphasized that they are supporting local businesses by patronizing crafted food and beverage offerings at their restaurants and banquet spaces.
Aria Hotel and Residences is positioned as a five-star luxury hotel and is the first of the three planned hospitality assets of the FTC Group of Companies.
Silva added that the unique selling points are large size rooms with entry-level rooms at 45 sqm., six fixture toilets in all rooms; a bathtub, separate standing shower, two wash basins and toilet, smart rooms with master electronic controls, and high-speed internet connectivity at over 200 Mbps per room.
He also said that what makes Aria unique from the other properties is its Rooftop Sky Bar with views of Davao City and the Davao Gulf, rooftop fine dining western restaurant with its Michelin-inspired menus and top-notch service; the ballroom and meeting spaces are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, fixed LED screens.
Silva said they are going sustainable by using solar panels for hot water and kitchen and double-glazed energy-saving glass windows.
