Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte disclosed on Friday that the personnel of the Civil Security Unit (CSU) who tested positive for illegal drugs through confirmatory test will be fired.
The mayor said the city government of Davao will conduct an investigation regarding this matter.
“Tanggal sila. I do not know kung unsa pa ang decision namo ana karon, syempre investigate namo na,” Duterte told the media.
The mayor said that the regular random drug testing conducted on city government employees is a normal cleansing, to make sure that no one is involved or using illegal drugs.
For us government workers grabe nga betrayal na ingon ana nga mga butang,” the mayor said.
Duterte reminded employees that drugs do nothing good to their lives.
“It (drugs) does nothing good to you.
It can be recalled that Duterte has declared war against illegal drugs in Davao City in March this year.
