Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II, son of Davao City First District Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte and namesake of former president Rodrigo Duterte, graced the 9th anniversary of the Tausug Group Duterte Defenders (TGDD) at the Davao City Recreation Center on Saturday.
Tausug Group Duterte Defender is comprised of individuals, regardless of religion and tribe, who supported the former president.
Rigo brought joy to the participants by raffling off three Samsung cell phones, 30 packs of 5 kilos of rice, and 20 gift certificates worth P3,000 each.
He also expressed thanks to the group for their unwavering support for the Duterte family.
Rigo also promoted the Pwersa ng Pilipinong Pandagat (PPP) Party List, a party launched on June 22, 2024.
The party list was created in answer to the need for stronger Dabawenyo representation in Congress, and to represent those who generate their livelihood from and through the oceans.
The creation of PPP also aims to advance the interest and welfare of Dabawenyos.
