Davao City First District Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte submitted himself to another hair follicle drug test at High Precision Diagnostic Center in Mandaluyong City.

In a video shared to media, Rep. Pulong was shown undergoing a hair follicle drug test on Wednesday, his second this year, as a response to the challenge made by PBA partylist Rep.Margarita “Migs” Nograles that they take a drug test together.

When Nograles pointed out on Tuesday that Pulong’s drug test was already out of date, it turned out that she was referring to the first video of the test conducted in August. The result was negative.

The hair follicle test was done first to Pulong two months ago after he proposed a house bill in Congress requiring all elected officials to undergo a drug test.

The video and a copy of the drug test result in August were eventually released by the lawmaker after his sister, Vice President Sara Duterte, challenged all congressional candidates to undergo a drug test.

The vice president’s statements drew reactions from some lawmakers who have described her as “unbecoming” and even hurled accusations that she is having mental problems following her fiery press conference last Friday.

As a response, Duterte said she is willing to undergo a neuropsychiatric examination and strongly challenged members of Congress, particularly the so-called “young guns”, to subject themselves to a drug test.

She also called upon Filipino voters to demand their politicians to undergo drug tests.

As of this writing, the so-called “young guns” have not made any press statements announcing that they have already subjected themselves to a drug test like Rep. Pulong.
