Vice President Sara Duterte reacted to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s pronouncement to fight back against the assassination threat made by her against him and his family.

“Oo, di ba pumalag nga yung buong bayan nung pinatay ng kanilang pamilya si Benigno Aquino Jr,” Duterte told the media.

Marcos described the vice president’s recent pronouncements alarming.

The vice president warned on Saturday that she hired someone to kill Marcos, the First Lady, and cousin Speaker Martin Romualdez if she herself is killed.

Duterte added that her security does not matter to the National Security Council (NSC).

“Nag complain ako noon sa media, everything was well documented, nagsabi ang NSC na national security ang threat against the President but apparently they do not consider the threat to the Vice President as anything of a concern. What of kind country is this?

Pagthreat sa kanila national security,” she said.

The vice president added that she does not expect fairness from the Marcos administration.

“We don’t trust anyone anymore in this country. We don’t expect justice anymore in this country,” the vice president said.

On Monday, the vice president attended the hearing on the Committee on Government and Public Accountability at the People’s Center, House of Representatives.

She also took her oath after the members of the committee.
