The City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO) is reminding all business establishment owners to register and renew their tourism certificates for year 2025.
The CTOO certifies and issues license to tourism-related businesses and establishments to ensure high-quality, sustainable tourism to both visitors and Dabawenyos.
Hotels, Apartelle, Mabuhay Accommodations (e.g. Tourist Inn, Pension Houses, Motels, etc.), Travel and Tours, Resort, Tourist Transport Services, both land and sea, tour guides, and Professional Congress Organizer are among those identified as Primary Tourism Enterprises.
Secondary tourism enterprises, on the other hand, include Agri-tourism businesses, amusement, booking offices, coffee shops, dive shops, functions, KTV/Bar/Lounge entertainment, recreational facilities, refreshment parlors, restaurants, and souvenir or gift shops.
Additional tourism enterprises are special event organizers, sports facilities, swimming pool businesses, tour operators, and wellness and spas.
To register, business owners may visit the CTOO’s main office at the Davao City Investment and Tourism Promotion Center Building on Palma Gil Street, or its satellite booth at the Sangguniang Panlungsod.
