Dabawenyos urged to get free shots vs flu, pneumonia, HPV, MRTD

The City Health Office urged Dabawenyos to avail the free flu, pneumonia, human papillomavirus (HPV), and measles, rubella, tetanus, and diphtheria (MRTD) vaccination that will run from January 9 to 12 at 2L Main Mall of the SM City Davao.

The general public, aged 20 and over, is eligible to receive free flu or influenza vaccinations. The MRTD vaccines, on the other hand, are for Grades 1 and 7 students.

Children between 9 and 14 can receive the HPV vaccine, while the pneumococcal vaccines can be availed by senior citizens and people with co-morbidities.

The vaccination will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on a “first to come, first to be served” basis until the supplies last.

Dabawenyos are also urged to bring any government-issued I.D. for adults and student I.D. for the youths.

The vaccination is an initiative of the City Health Office (CHO) to protect Dabawenyos from serious illnesses.

For more information about the vaccination, Dabawenyos may follow the official Facebook page of the CHO and the City Government of Davao. CIO
