The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 11 (PDEA 11) dismantled two drug dens in two separate operations in Davao Region on Friday.
According to PDEA 11, drug enforcement agents carried out a buy bust operation that led to the dismantling of a drug den in Purok 1 Durian, Barangay New Visayas in Panabo City, Davao del Norte and the arrest of suspects identified as alias “Loloy,” drug den maintainer, his live in partner, drug den employee identified as alias “Elmer,” and visitors alias “Mylene,” “Kent” and “Christopher”.
The operation also led to the confiscation of nine pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachets with suspected shabu in different sizes weighing more or less 15 grams with estimated value of P102,000, assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust marked money.
The raid was conducted with the Second Davao del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company.
Meanwhile, operatives of PDEA 11-Davao Oriental Provincial Office, Davao Oriental Police Provincial Office-Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and Mati City Police Station conducted a bust operation that resulted to the dismantling of a drug den in Phase 6 Martinez, Barangay Dahican, Mati City, Davao Oriental.
PDEA 11 agents arrested the drug den maintainer identified only as alias “Marvy,” drug den employee identified as alias “Dexter”, and drug den visitor alias “Peter.”
Seized during the operation was one piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet with suspected shabu weighing more or less 10 grams with estimated value of P68,000, assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust marked money.
PDEA 11 said cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against the suspects.
