New lead unearthed in woman’s killing

Police investigators have been able to establish the name of one of the suspects behind the murder of a woman inside an inn along San Pedro St., Davao City Tuesday morning.

However, according to Chief Ramil Macarampat of San Pedro Police Station, the suspect’s name cannot be divulged yet pending the completion of their investigation.

The other suspect’s identity remains unknown to authorities.

Macarampat said investigators are in hot pursuit operation of the suspects in the killing of Rubinaire Ibara Rabara, 37, from Urdaneta City in Pangasinan.

Rabara was confirmed by her landlady to be a commercial sex worker known to be called “Ilongga” who has, more or less, 14 children from different live-in partners.

According to her landlady, on the night of the incident, Rabara’s current live-in partner tried to stop her from going to work but she did not listen.

The cops are looking at misunderstanding between the suspects and the victim as the motive of the incident based on the writing at the mirror of the comfort room.

As of writing, no relative has claimed the cadaver of Rabara but police have been trying to contact her relatives in Kidapawan, North Cotabato.

It can be recalled that on May 9, Rabara’s body was found under the bed inside room no. 76 of D’Morvie Inn at San Pedro St., Davao City with writings on the mirror of the comfort room saying “MAO NAI MAAYO SA MANGILAD DILI MOTUMAN SA SABOT.”
