The resumption of all public transport on Tuesday after a one-day strike did not meant the resumption for classes in all schools along with work in government offices.
Contrary to what was reported on Wednesday, classes in both public and private schools and work in government offices in Davao City reopened on Wednesday.
This was after both the TRANSMISSION Piston Davao and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board announced the end of the strike on Monday at 12 midnight.
On Tuesday, City Transport and Traffic Management Office head, Supt. Dioniso Abude announced that traffic was back to normal as passenger jeepneys resumed operation.
