Tugbok police on Wednesday arrested P02 Alsibar Jama Ismael for causing alarm and scandal after he quarreled with his wife.
Police investigator Roldan Paradiang revealed at about 10:45 in the morning of March 7, Ismael figured in a heated quarrel with his wife, PO3 Joyce Corcino for reasons not disclosed.
In the process, Ismael cocked and fired his service firearm, causing alarm to his neighbors who lost no time in informing the police.
By 11:05 A.M., P/S Inspector Paulino A. Zaulda Jr., Tugbok station commander responded with a group of policemen, resulting in the arrest of Ismael.
No case was filed against Ismael but investigators said he will still face an administrative case for his behavior
The firearm confiscated from the suspect’s possession and control one unit of Glock 17 9mm pistol bearing a serial number PNP 18909 loaded with one magazine and 15 pieces of live ammunition and one empty shell of 9mm.
Ismael is a resident of San Francisco St. Barangay Mintal, Tugbok District, Davao City, 30 years old, and is presently assigned with the Calinan Police Station.
The suspect is currently under the custody of the said Tugbok Police Station.
