Lower LPG prices will greet consumers at the start of September on Thursday.
In an advisory on Wednesday, Petron Corporation announced it would implement a P1.75 per kilogram price reduction on its household LPG, beginning at 12:01 a.m. of Thursday.
Solane will slash the price of LPG by P1.62 per kilogram, effective at 6 a.m.
Phoenix Petroleum is also reducing the price of its LPG by P1.75 per kilogram, effective at 12:01 a.m.
At the same time, Petron and Phoenix will implement price rollbacks on Auto LPG by P0.98 per liter and P0.95 per liter, respectively.
Petron said the price adjustments “reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of September.”
Data from the Department of Energy showed retail prices for an 11-kilogram household LPG tank ranged from P838 to P1,024.
