TRMH-EECOP: The joy of giving

Christmas is the season of joy, get-togethers and gift-giving.

The Royal Mandaya Hotel, with generosity in its heart, highlighted its Christmas celebration with a year-capping charity activity.

TRMH’s Emilio Escandor Community Outreach Program 2018 “Business with a Heart” Charity Visit was dedicated to the House of Hope and held on December 19, 2018 at Southern Philippines Medical Center, J.P. Laurel, Bajada Davao City.

TRMH-EECOP team wholeheartedly reached-out to the Kids of Hope where there are about 35 cancer patients under its care. Most of the patients come from distant places outside Davao City, some coming from Luzon and Visayas and has modest ways of living.

House of Hope Foundation together with the parents of these smiling children were so grateful for TRMH’s generosity.

The team served nutritious foods and drinks for the children, their parents and to the volunteers. Santa Claus also paid a visit with his full bag of gifts for the children. Party Magician Master Cris was also with them to perform awesome magic tricks for them.

Despite the exhaustion of the TRMH-EECOP team, still they felt relieved to see the smile of the children’s faces.

Truly, The Royal Mandaya Hotel has shown the true meaning of Christmas through the joy of giving that the children from the House of Hope will always remember in their hearts.

The TRMH-EECOP epitomized Mother Teresa’s teaching: “It is not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.”
