Compostela Valley Province— In line with the 118th celebration of the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC) month, the provincial government of Compostela Valley under Governor Jayvee Tyron L. Uy holds its capitol employees sportsfest on September 13 – 14, 2018 at the capitol complex, Cabidianan, Nabunturan, Comval.
This years theme: “Lingkod Bayani: Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makabayan.”
According to Governor Uy “this is the fulfillment of the celebration of the CSC month as well as the promotion of wellness and physical fitness.”
During the opening program the provincial government heads and assistant PG heads spearheaded the lightning of torch which symbolizes, the light of spirit, knowledge, and life. Anchored on the theme, “warrior”, the employees are clustered into four teams; Blue Knights, Yellow Barbarians, Black Ninja and Red Samurai.
Meanwhile during the activity there is a blessing and turn-over ceremony of the five units of (5) dump track, one (1) transit mixer and one (1) fuel tanker as well as the turn-over of one (1) provincial bus, donated by Metro Shuttle Bus Corporation as part or there corporate social responsibility was also done.
De Carlo L. Uy, President and Chief Executive Office of Metro Shuttle Bus Corporation made the turn-over himself.
